Why Did This Waze Founder Leave Google?

Noam Bardin (cofounder of Waze) gives an in depth look on what it was like being a startup bought by Google, and why he had to leave. He concludes it is the nature of the corporate beast to smother startup teams. The help from a corporate organization is usually overrated (Waze was just a third party app in the Google Play Store) and can really be a hindrance (HR policies, less freedom of speech).

This is article is so interesting to me, because he started in 2013 thinking all this would not apply to him. Really good lessons for corporates investing in smaller firms (and vice versa).
