US sportsbooks struggling to find bets to offer, with major sports events suspended

William Hill did about 20% of its normal business last Saturday, and it was particularly hit by March Madness's cancellation. DraftKings said wagering on three new offerings —Russian Premier League soccer, Turkey’s Süper Lig and Turkey’s 1. Lig— was up 1,058%, 1,338% and 2,187% respectively last week. Analysts don't expect states with new industries to close sportsbooks or betting apps, though some could face layoffs.
