Alibaba’s growth slows to lowest in 3 years

Not much to say here other than that Alibaba is whether the economic slowdown in China and, while its new business areas are growing in terms of revenue, they still only account for a slither of revenue. That's partly because the core China commerce business is just so big, but also because these newer revenue channels -- which include local services, cloud and Southeast Asia -- will take time to grow to a decent size. Unfortunately, it seems that Alibaba needs that growth now to satisfy Wall Street.

But its take on mini programs is now at 230 million daily users, although engage and activity is likely much lower than on WeChat mini programs.
