News Flash: X-ray Vision No Longer a Superpower

MIT researchers have created software that can use WiFi signals to “see” people through solid walls. The AI-trained software can use these returns like a radar to track the movements of people on the other side. What we want to know is whether you need to have control of the WiFi signal to use this software. If you do, there are a lot of legitimate uses — security, emergency response, or making sure an elderly family member hasn’t fallen — along with a natural guard against abuse. If not, it opens up a major opportunity for snooping. Luckily, the stick figures generated from the neural network aren't anatomically revealing.
