Friday the 13th Is Back. Here's Why It Scares Us.

I'm not superstitious, and see myself as quite rational, but I do have a mild case of numerology on occasion. Friday the 13th certainly affects me somehow. Maybe my brain subconsciously triggers the response to the horror movies I saw as a kid. I utterly hate scary movies. (The article in the link is from 2018, but still a great read.)
