RealWear raises $80M from Teradyne, Qualcomm, others for industrial augmented reality headset | GeekWire

The concept of an augmented reality heads-up display didn’t quite catch on with consumers when Google Glass debuted six years ago. But if RealWear’s growth is any indication, it has clearly found a use case in the industrial world. The Vancouver, Wash.-based company today announced a $80 million investment round, one of the largest in Washington state this year.
