My take-aways for better learning include:

  1. Break things into small parts
  2. Have a trainer
  3. When injured, focus on the parts you can still improve
We have to be able to do something slowly before we can have any hope of doing it correctly with speed.
When aiming for the top, your path requires an engaged, searching mind. You have to make obstacles spur you to creative new angles in the learning process. Let setbacks deepen your resolve. You should always come off an injury or a loss better than when you went down.
Bruce slowed me down by asking questions. Whenever I made an important decision, good or bad, he would ask me to explain my thought process. Were there other ways to accomplish the same aim?
