Amsterdam Is Embracing a Radical New Economic Theory to Help Save the Environment

This is an incredible story about a concept that might transform the way we live permanently. I was wondering if I should include it in the first place, but it was so inspiring and I thought it is worth a read.

Amsterdam is embracing something called the true-price initiative, aiming to bring a good quality of life to its people, without putting more pressure on the planet.

The label by the zucchini said they cost a little more than normal: 6¢ extra per kilo for their carbon footprint, 5¢ for the toll the farming takes on the land, and 4¢ to fairly pay workers.

The idea is just incredible. Check out the entire story here.
