The negativity of the media was the topic of last month's bookclub. As my old housemates will confirm, I feel strongly about this! The media's business model promotes the spread of negativity, hate and outrage to maximise engagement and boost their profits.

Although I stopped consuming the news almost 5 years ago, this book promotes the consumption of 'solutions journalism' rather than a total boycott. I also like this less dramatic approach!
