Want to do Your Part to Help Fight Sexual Harassment? Don't Avoid Women. Mentor Them.


The data proves how much mentorship matters: studies show people with mentors are more likely to get a promotion. But women are less likely to get the kind of mentorship that opens doors. Men far outnumber women as managers and senior leaders. By mentoring women, you can help correct that imbalance—and be part of a long-term solution. We need to do everything it takes to stop sexual harassment. But that’s not enough. We also need to fix the power dynamics that give rise to sexual harassment in the first place—and mentoring women is one way we’ll get there.
