Lexend (Variable)

Designed by TypeThursday founder Thomas Jockin, Lexend is a sans serif intended to help improve reading speed. Developed using Shaver-Troup Formulations, the typeface is available in seven styles, that have varied widths and spacing, so users can choose the font style that’s best for their reading speed. All seven styles are available on Google Fonts, and there is a variable font version available to download on GitHub.

Because Lexend is very diverse, it allows you to pair its different styles together, providing enough contrast while maintaining a cohesive voice. We suggest using Lexend Peta for headings, pairing it with Lexend Exa for text.
