Not all Level 2 assists are created equal

Researchers at the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety have concluded that not all adaptive cruise control and active lane-keeping systems currently on the market are created equal. The IIHS implemented road and track testing with five different makes of vehicles with tech-controlled assists in order to gather data on how well each stayed in its lane, especially going around corners and up hills. Though none of the tests resulted in an accident, there were significant differences between the systems that earned high marks and those that did not.

Spoiler: The Tesla Model 3 performed best.
