Epigenetic 'tags' linked to homosexuality in men

New research into the genetics of sexual orientation in men. Research is finding that the combination of genetics and environmental development of the fetus while in the womb may determine sexual orientation. It's not just the DNA but in fact how the DNA is expressed which is impacted by environmental factors during development.

What's interesting here is not so much about the origin of sexual orientation but more how humans evolve to become who they are. Genetics is extremely complicated and the science helps us better understand how we come to be who we are, biologically speaking. Bigthink covers more of this with additional details.
