Chinese police trial facial-recognition glasses for surveillance

China is already well known for tens of millions of CCTV cameras, now it is giving police on the ground access to its facial recognition to help root out suspects at street level. The glasses are being test ahead of lunar new year, the world's largest migration of people, and are said to have already directly led to the capture of 7 criminals. The tech itself is worryingly inconsistent, which raises question about how officers might react when information is wrong.
