What’s in your toolbox?

I’m proud to say I spent most of the weekend successfully NOT obsessing over the book. It gave me some time for my great passion: tiny, disposable prototypes! While TDPs (can that be a thing?) are the enemy of big projects, nothing is more satisfying right after you’ve finished one.

Before Saturday morning, I probably hadn’t opened Unity or written a line of code in six months. I expected to have to update all my software, but I didn’t anticipate some of the incredibly helpful new features I found in source control and productivity, particularly for Unity + GitHub users. I was thrilled to see some of my earlier workflow content is now out of date. I took some time to write about the huge improvements I’ve been able to make when creating a new project. I’m just as interested in hearing what everyone else is doing now when they start something new from scratch!
