Huawei says US ban will cost it $30B in lost revenue

Founder and CEO Ren Zhengfei was, until recently, fair media shy but developments with the US government have forced him to be more vocal. In an interview conducted in front of press, Ren said he's hopeful that the company can navigate its current challenges after being banned from working with US suppliers and be "rejuvenated" by 2021. But, before then, the ban is expected to cost $30 billion in lost revenue, or 1/6th of its total. Yikes.

Meanwhile, Huawei is said to be in talks with Russia to use its Avrora OS link

Plus, perhaps as a result of the US-China stand-off, it is reported that Chinese grads now want to work for domestic tech companies rather than US ones link
