It would not be far-fetched to say that technology will become a mainstay of the classroom

While the global pandemic forced educational institutions to use technology, many of the solutions they implemented were short-term fixes which were adopted much more rapidly than is typical in the industry. Now, they must begin to think longer-term as they determine how to more permanently integrate edtech into the classroom. Ideally, the momentum of more agile and rapid adoption of new technology will be able to be maintained and will help to solve longstanding problems for student performance.
