The Education Endowment Foundation recently published a guidance report on metacognition and self-regulated learning. The authors translated existing research into practical recommendations that teachers can use to help students develop these foundational skills. The recommendations will be of value to both elementary and secondary school teachers as well as youth program practitioners and parents.
