Newspack announces second set of pilot newsrooms; first U.S. site relaunches on new platform

The second set of newsrooms slated for Automattic’s Google News Initiative-funded “Newspack” platform have been announced, and another publication has launched (see below). Newspack provides a pre-configured web platform, primarily for independent local media publishers.
