In one of the most insightful and remarkable case studies, Jeff Kao uses NLP techniques to analyze net neutrality comments submitted to the FCC from April-October 2017. He finds that more than 1M pro-repeal net neutrality comments were likely faked and that it's highly likely that more than 99% of the truly unique comments were in favor of keeping net neutrality.
