JFDI Asia, one of Southeast Asia's first accelerator programs, closes its doors

The program is pivoting to work with corporates. Plenty of food for thought here. I haven't written anything (yet) but a combination of a realization that Southeast Asia's growth potential may take longer than many expected, its still nascent state of venture capital in the region, and the dominance of e-commerce as a startup genre have all played a part. Not to mention that running an independent accelerator is very, very tough.
