Women, minority business owners are the focus of NDC's new online loan application portal

The nonprofit National Development Council, which sees Cleveland as a critical market for its work in small-business lending, looks to further support entrepreneurs who may struggle to access traditional small-business loans by creating a simpler application process. The new system is established in part with support from fintech company Thrive and a grant from the W.K. Kellogg Foundation.
