PWC: Voice Assistant Mainly For Simple Tasks

Nice short presentation by PWC in the link which puts voice assistants in perspective. For now, the bulk of consumers use it for simple tasks like playing Spotify or checking the weather. News is not even on the radar. They have yet to graduate to more advanced activities like shopping or controlling other smart devices in the home. Males and younger consumers are more likely to experiment with newer, more advanced features, but even then, it’s at a minimum. Privacy is an issue (will this be the next Google glass?) and most people have no clue what the machine can do, like texting or sending an email.
