RedDoorz raises $70M more to compete with OYO

The company has now raised $115M in back-to-back investment rounds designed at growing its presence in Southeast Asia, and presumably giving it greater ammunition as India's OYO -- which invented the budget hotel network concept -- pushes harder. OYO recently announced a new head of the region, and it has been raising billions to go after a global playbook that, beyond Southeast Asia, includes China, Europe (which it entered via an acquisition) and even the US.
