Cako is the nice looking new release of French foundry Violaine & Jérémy. Like most of their fonts, Cako is very well suited for logo design and editorial use. This one, however, blends a high contrast with spiky terminals – I mean, look at that 'g' 😍. The typeface comes in three weights (Thin, Regular and Black) with italics, ligatures and three alternate stylistic sets.

What should I pair it with? Cako is a fun and quirky serif, and would be greatly suited to pair with a sans serif. You could go with a more neutral sans serif, like Graphik, to emphasize Cako's unusual shapes, or something a bit more funky, like Clother.
