Let’s stop calling them ‘soft skills’


Article (7 minutes): We often hire for what tangible skills people can bring to the table (knowledge of particular programs, languages, etc - the things we can track), but tend to fire people (though reluctantly) based on their soft skills. While it's hard to sometimes hire people for those skills when you need someone now, it's often the best long-term call you can make as a team. Seth breaks it down in this one!
