DARPA to host Olympics for micro-bots

The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency is hosting a competition for bug-sized robots that could provide recon info after disasters or for inspecting hazardous environments. The robots would be able to compete in locations that are hard for humans or larger bots to navigate, and they will be judged on strength, speed, and agility. No word on whether the winners will be awarded micro-medals while standing on micro-podiums.
