How schools can make smarter technology purchasing decisions
www.fastcompany.comThe University of Virginia’s EdTech Evidence Exchange has launched the EdTech Genome Project, an effort to create a toolkit for decision makers to utilize when determining whether and how to adopt new technology in the classroom. The Project, with an advisory board of academic researchers, educators, technology investors, union leaders, and representatives of philanthropic organizations, is tracking the implementation, cost and other variables associated with edtech products to serve as a reference for administrators.
