Amazon returns product to India store after joint venture ownership rejig

Amazon sells a lot of product in India using joint venture businesses -- a move that sidestepped past restrictions -- however new legislation prevented it from working with supply partners that owns a substantial part of. That meant it withdrew a range of products on February 1. However, it has rejigged its JVs -- for Cloudtail, its largest, partner Catamaran increased its stake in seller to 76% -- allowing the supply to re-enter its platform in India.
