New browser goes beyond Great Firewall but comes with privacy cost

A new browser called Kuniao has gone viral for its VPN feature, which allows users to jump China's censorship restrictions and give access to banned sites like Twitter and Facebook. The trade-off, however, is that all user activity is tracked (a phone number is used to register) and the code of conduct features "a peculiar set of terms and conditions that seemed to echo government-speak." Many are rightly sceptical.
