Wolfram Language Artificial Intelligence: The Image Identification Project

I previously reported on Google and Stanford coming up with artificial intelligences capable of identifying what's in a picture. Now Wolfram is launching a similar product, and makes it available through an API. The result: any piece of software can now upload an image to the Wolfram servers, and get a text-based description in return. I haven't been able to test this yet, and it might not work perfectly for now. But that technology will one day offer 99% accuracy. Just imagine the possibilities this will open up for advertisers, who will be able to taylor ads to youtube videos and instagram feeds as they will know what is appearing on the screen. Huge.
