FWBHS senior creates food pantry to feed less fortunate students


Lyndsey Laborde, a Fort Walton Beach High School senior, has created a food pantry for less fortunate students. Those students have started taking food home to feed their families, according to the Northwest Florida Daily News.

I've know the Laborde family for 19 years. Lyndsey's father ran the drumline back when I played at FWBHS! And her mother oversaw the Dolls. #VAKA

Talking with the NWFDN, over the summer Lyndsey tried to think of a way to give back to the school community she loves so much. Working closely with guidance counselor Susan Versteeg, she decided to open a food pantry at her school.
