Crestview City Council discusses options for alcohol ordinance

Potential changes to Crestview’s alcohol ordinance are moving forward. The council passed the first reading of the ordinance Monday night, and now City Manager Tim Bolduc says it will go to its second reading.

According to WEAR, businesses that currently sell alcohol outside the Main Street corridor must be 500 feet away from a church.

The options the city is discussing include leaving things the way they are, reducing the exclusionary zone to 250 feet, or getting rid of the exclusionary zone completely.
