Forgotten Shapes, one of our favourite new type foundries of 2018, just published the revival of an unfinished typeface designed by Friedrich Wilhelm Kleukens in 1929. This wasn't an easy task, given that there were only three surviving sketches on which to base its reconstruction. Yet, Raymund Schröder has revisited the slab serif, expanded its initial weight with four additional ones, and designed newly invented italics.
