MailChimp has launched, in beta, a website builder of its very own. MailChimp’s ambitions have been long focused away from email, and while this first iteration of the builder seems targeted toward email capture and landing pages it’ll likely expand out as their commerce offerings get more robust.

(Obviously this is not strictly WordPress news, but the announcement kicked off a fair bit of chatter in the WP world given the nearly-perfectly circular Venn diagram of WordPress users and MailChimp users.)
