A2 Record Gothic

London-based A2-TYPE released Record Gothic, a revival of Ludlow’s Record Gothic, a single-weight sans from the late 1920s, to which many additional styles had been added over the years by different designers. In an attempt to unify the family, but also to celebrate its eclectic history, A2 expanded its initial cut to seven weights (Thin to Black) three widths (Normal, Condensed and X Condensed) and added four independent styles: Slab, Mono, Stencil and Outline. As a result, its different fonts are diverse enough to create interesting and atypical pairings among them.
