Pokemon GO and its unnecessary request for full access to users' Google accounts is just the latest reminder of how even legitimate apps can expose sensitive data and put users at risk. Carnegie Mellon University researchers plan to release an Android app this summer that they claim will help users understand and manage the permissions requested by the apps residing on their mobile device.
