Chantelle Abdul grew Mojec International Holdings from a small family-owned business in Nigeria into an energy business that has helped modernize the country’s electricity market.

When Nigeria’s power industry was first privatized in the 2010s, electric bills were rough estimates at best. Abdul was among the first to realize that smart electricity metering was the critical link in successfully building out the country’s electricity grid.
