NYT: Venezuelan peace icon & self-taught violinist Wuilly Arteaga writes about his love for NYC

Wuilly is a LEGEND - his spirit and bravery are inspiring. Born in Venezuela to a poor family, he dropped out of school at 8 yrs old and later taught himself to play the violin by watching YouTube videos. As an adult, he played his violin at deadly protests against the Venezuelan President, eventually thrown in jail and tortured. Having survived that, he moved to NYC where he now gets to play his violin in freedom. His favorite spot to play is Penn Station because he gets to welcome visitors and tourists. :) Read his op-ed in the NY Times, which is basically a love letter to New Yorkers and NYC! I'm not crying, you are.. (And here's the video version of his op-ed).
