My friend Laura Hall is an artist, writer, escape room owner, and puzzle-maker who's just published an excellent book on escape room history, strategy and design. The book touches on the history of immersive puzzle entertainment, outlines classic escape room elements, and gives pointers to those who would construct their own escape rooms and puzzle hunts.
