Aligning Teams with Token Holders

Blockchains are all about incentives. In theory, corporate structures are all about incentives as well.. but not in a programmatic manner. YouNow is a company that is developing a protocol for its business, PROPS, which it wants to make available for the entire world as opposed to only its corporation and customers. Open systems like these are exactly where blockchains thrive, but often there is a tension with corporate mandates which require executives to focus on creating shareholder value for their own company. Therefore, YouNow is switching to a B-Corp to allow them the flexibility required to create and maintain an open standard like PROPS. This is interesting legal innovation.
