Startups Wager the Slow Lane Might Beat Waymo

We are stoked to see smaller companies leaning on ingenuity to outsmart and outperform, if not overtake, Google in creating autonomous passenger vehicles. Startups such as Voyage, Navya, and the Bay area’s own Drive.ai are betting that constraining their shuttles to smaller stomping grounds and limiting their speeds to 40 mph (or lower!) might just open up the market in the David vs. Google-iath self-driving tech race. Could the slow lane be an on ramp to the fast track?
