Google announces 100,000 scholarships for online certificates in data analytics, project management and UX

I was shocked to hear this week how much a Data Scientist can earn. But why am I sharing this in this issue?

"Google's announcement comes as the United States grapples with historically high unemployment levels. According to most recent data from the U.S. Labor Department, 33 million people were collecting unemployment benefits as of June 20 — five times the previous high of 6.6 million hit during the Great Recession."

There's a longer piece I want to write about this, but essentially: People have to consistently learn to be consistently in demand. Your job right now likely won't exist in the future, so keep keep learning.
