Twitter tests 'humanization prompts' in effort to reduce toxic replies

Twitter is known to use nudges to make its platform more civil. They have tried the ‘forced’ quote retweet in the past and prompting people to ‘read’ a link before they retweet it.

Now they are testing a new nudge called ‘Humanization prompts’. These nudges will show users what they have in common with Twitter accounts before they hit "reply."

It seems quite interesting, though the results could be very mixed. More in this article.
