Leaving Google (after 17 years)

I'm including this article in this section because a) it's a great example of leadership journeys that don't require management and b) it's a great example of someone who's had a large impact both as an individual contributor and technical leader (at least according to my trident model of career development). Finally, 17 years is a long time in any place, especially for a person in tech. Thanks to Evan Martin (@evmar) for sharing your journey.
