What does an agile product roadmap look like?

In this article Jeff Gothelf takes a deeper look at roughly the same approach. Things are more defined in the near-term, and become more unknown and speculative in the longer-term.

My key takeaway is that roadmaps are formed and driven by the learning which happens. If something on the roadmap isn't working out, or we have learned that we can do something better than we can always change our plan and update the roadmap. They should never be planned too far ahead and set in stone.
